Eastenders E20



I looked at the website for the online show Eastenders E20.
Which ways are the makers of the show trying to target youth audiences in; pre-production, production and post-production?

Pre-production:
-Younger influence, having 13 writers aged 17-22, each very different to add diversity to the show and make it relevant to your diverse audiences.

Production:
-Young cast
-Action packed
-Rapid/Jump cuts
-The music is relevant to the type of music teenages and young people listen to.

Post-production:
-Distrubted online
-Interactive website for audience, audience able to remix music from the show.

All of these things help target youth audiences, as these are the types of things that will attract younger audiences and make them interested in watching the show.

The Website:
We looked at the website to find what type of things they include and see if we could come up with any ideas that may be good for our show.

The things that are on there website that might be good ideas for our show's marketing are:
-Company Logo
-Branded/Banner
-Big Video
-Episode summary
-Previously
-Fat Boys webcam (additional content features characters)
-Facebook, Twitter (& other links) ....#tags.
