After we had a basic idea of what the concept for the mini series was we had to assign everyone in the class roles for the project. The first role we had to assign was 'Chair', for this we also used voting but instead of post-its, we went around the class and asked everyone to nominate one person they thought would make a good chair, once everyone had nominated each person had to vote. Alex and Tim got the majority of votes and it was decided that they should both be chairs so that they could help each other and if one is not in a lesson they is still one there, in my opinion this was a very good idea. It was then Alex and Tim's job to organize our meeting on deciding the rest of the roles; Tim began by writing the list of roles of the board and went down the list and asked who would like to do each role, once someone had offered to take on a role everyone had to vote yes or no by raising hands. Although we managed to assign all the roles, I think the meeting could have gone a lot better; there were a few people in the class that were constantly talking over other people and wouldn't let people say their opinions. The same people were also the ones that got the most roles, there are a few people in the class that seemed to want to have all of the roles and basically be in control of the whole project.
Though we had some issues everyone was given a role that they were happy with, my role is Marketing & Publicity.

CASTING: Mike
In future meetings some of the class is going to need to let other people have some more input.
